Full name: June Holm
Age: 25 years old
From and current city: From a small place in the middle of Norway called Tomrefjord. Currently traveling around the world, but my “home” is Oslo.
Occupation: Self-employed. I’m an influencer on social media and public speaker.
How would you describe your life today? – Recently I have felt that I have finally “found myself”. I have chosen to close some doors behind me, and now I feel that one door after another is opening up for me. This experience has given me so many positive opportunities I never want to be without!
What do you love the most about your life? – I love that I’m feeling free, and that I’m my own boss. Life has never been this exciting!
How, when and why did you decide to start your blog? – I've always had a passion for writing and photography. A family member showed me how to start a blog when I was 15 year old. After that I became addicted.
This past year; has anything in particular made an impact on how you see the world/the future? – I lived only in routines, and it didn’t make me happy. When I managed to break out of this cycle I saw everything with new eyes, and with time I felt so much better with everything in my life.
You are a role model to a lot of girls in Norway today. Is empowering of women an important cause to you? – Yes, it is! I do not want to expose my life as a "glossy perfect picture", because I don’t think I can help someone with creating that illusion. By being personal, honest and genuine, I think a lot of women can find help, comfort and inspiration from me. How would you describe your relationship with money? – We are friends! I do not waste my money, but as many other women I also like to spend a little money. I feel I have found a healthy balance.
Do you save and/or invest money today? – Before my travel around the world I saved money, and I also have a “BSU” account which I transfer money too each year.
How is Spiff going to improve your life? – We all have something to learn when it comes to saving money, it’s an area you never get enough experience on I think. I also hope young people find it useful and interesting to learn more about saving and investing money! Personally I am very eager to learn more.
If you could change one thing about the world what would it be?
–I want all people to be treated equally. Everyone should be treated in the same way. Gender, culture, religion and race should not matter. That’s my biggest dream. No prejudices or unfairness.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
In five years I have published several books and worked with a project to help women in difficult situations. I’m also a public speaker not only in Norway, but also around the world. I want to start a family too, but at this moment in my life it feels right for me being independent and by myself. Time will show when this is right for me!
