Who?

Name: Teegan Curitz

Age: 29

From: Cape Town, SA. Now living in Brooklyn, NY

Education: BA English Lit and Acting, Diploma In Acting Michael Howard Studios

Occupation: Actor, Producer, Writer

How would you describe your life today?

Life looks a little unstructured, which can be a bit daunting, but I'm getting the work and taking the meetings I have to. Not one day looks the same. For me its about not panicking, not concentrating on the “what will I get done, will I be productive…” And instead just taking action… just doing the bloody work, and not judging it, trusting that I have something genuine and unique to me; to offer.

What do you love the most about your life?

I love that I get to create. I used to see myself as just one thing- I'm an actress and I stuck to that with all my might! You know, you get scared that if you try something new, you will lose the other thing that you identified yourself as. This isn’t true! we have many treasures and talents hidden inside of us.

How would you describe your relationship with money?

I love money, but I don’t think about it that much. I am outgoing and like good food, traveling and a great time. I believe it will always come to me… call it naivety?

Do you save or invest any money today?

I invest in my company, in projects that I believe in, that will not only make me money but have a positive outreach with young women. Basically, I don’t want to make money at the expense of other things (environment, animals), a trend that we see in this modern era, unfortunately.

How do you think Spiff will improve yourlife?

I look forward to having a platform where I can invest easily and trust the ethics of the company, without thinking I might be scammed (another strong trend in todays society). I also like the apps' social aspect of saving! As a producer I have to maximize the funds we raise, and I hope Spiff will make this process easier, while motivating me and my partners to meet our goals... together!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years:

Producing multiple passion projects and acting in them. I won't be in my 20s anymore, so please goodness I hope I feel more centered. Really enjoying this journey...😊
